Bio

Kazi Masudul Alam is a technology enthusiast who has completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa at 2017. His research interest is focused around the Smart City applications using cyber-physical system design approach. He is a recipient of the NSERC Canada and Ontario Graduate Scholarship awards of 2015. Mr. Alam has published number of research articles in the renowned international conferences and journals of IEEE, ACM, and Springer. He has received the best paper award in the conference of Internet of Vehicles, Beijing, 2014.

Mr. Alam has also been highly involved in the technology industry in various roles such as Software Designer, Developer, Tester, Platform/Configuration engineer throughout his career. Mr. Alam has completed M.Sc in Computer Science from University of Ottawa. His Master's research was focused on the diverse media augmented ubiquitous learning system design and immersive book reading experience. Mr. Alam is also a passionate educator and has been working as a faculty member of Computer Science and Engineering department of Khulna University, Bangladesh. He is a Summa Cum Laude of University of Ottawa and Khulna University.
