Dr. Asif Ahmed
Associate Professor
Dr. Asif Ahmed is currently working as Associate Professor in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Discipline, Khulna University where he is working since 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the same department in 2003. Later on, in 2009 he completed his MS in Prof. Ae Nim Pae's Molecular Modeling lab in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). Then he joined Prof. Paul A Millner;s Biosensor and Bionanotechnology lab in University of Leeds, UK and obtained PhD in 2015. In Khulna University Mr. Ahmed has contributed toward syllabus and curricula development, lecturing in undergraduate and MS, thesis supervision and other relevant academic and non academic duties. He has also acted as reviewer in some renowned journals related to his research field. Now he is in charge of Bioprocess Engineering laboratory where he is closely working with Professor Dr. Sheikh Enayetul Babar to enhance research facilites.
