Dr. Abdus Subhan Mollick
Dr. Mollick is currently working as Professor in the Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline at Khulna University in Bangladesh. He received Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Forestry from Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline of Khulna University, Bangladesh in 1997, following which he secured Master of Science in Tropical Forestry from Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology, Georg-August-University, Goettingen, Germany in 2003 and his PhD in Marine and Environmental Sciences, from Faculty of Sciences, University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan in 2012.
Dr. Mollick started his earlier career as Assistant Manager
(Forests) at Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and employed in
Khulna Newsprint Mills Ltd., Khulna in September, 1999. He quit the BCIC job
and joined Bangladesh Forest Department as Assistant Conservator of Forests
(ACF) under FRMP in 1999. He left Bangladesh Forest Department job and joined in the Forestry and Wood
Technology Discipline at Khulna University of Bangladesh as lecturer in
October, 2004. He was subsequently promoted to the position of an Assistant
Professor in 2006 and Associate Professor in 2009. Since 2014, he has been serving
as a full professor in the same academic unit.
