This is Abdus Subhan Mollick, currently working as a Professor in Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline, Khulna University, Khulna-9208, Bangladesh. I completed B. Sc (Hons) in Forestry from Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline of Khulna University. I secured MS in Tropical Forestry from Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology, Georg-August-University, Goettingen, Germany in 2003 and obtained PhD in Marine and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan in 2012.
I started my earlier career as Assistant Manager (Forests) in Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and employed in Khulna Newsprint Mills Ltd. Khulna continued till September 1999. I quit the BCIC job and joined in Bangladesh Forest Department as Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) under FRMP in 1999. In 2004, I joined in Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline, Khulna University as lecturer.
In my career, I published about 19 research articles in reputed national and international peer reviewed journals.

I am responsible for teaching, counseling, supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am undertaking personal research projects and responsible for designing new courses and materials. I am carrying out administrative task related to the discipline such as student admission, induction programs and involvement in different academic committees.
