Chuton Deb Nath
Assistant Professor
Chuton Deb Nath is an Assistant Professor at Mass Communication and Journalism Discipline, Khulna University, Bangladesh. Before joining here, he worked as a Communication Assistant at a2i (Access to information) project a special program of the government of Bangladesh that catalyzes citizen -friendly public service innovations simplifying government and bringing it closer to people.
Chuton earned his Masters
and Honors degrees from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism,
University of Dhaka. He was a fellow of the State Department of the USA under the
fellowship program on Social Media Training and Campaign project 2012-13
organized by International Education and Resource Network, Bangladesh (iERN-BD)
and Sponsored by American Centre, Bangladesh. He was also awarded Development
Communication Fellowship of Center on Budget and Policy of Dhaka University.
His areas of interest are: Human
Communication, Conflict Resolution Journalism, New Media, Multimedia
Journalism, Environment Journalism, and Media Culture and Society.
