Research Interests:

  1. The interests of my research is on understanding of molecular genesis of leading cancers such as breast, lung, cervical, thyroid and oral cancer by applying global and integrative genomic approaches (microarray and sequencing platforms) to address the clinical and biological heterogeneity in cancers including breast, lung, cervical and oral.
  2. Identification of possible risk factors for improving cancer management and to devise rational therapeutic strategies for cancer patients.
  3. Linking pharmacogenetics and cancer treatment outcomes especially Asian patients.
  4. Developing novel prognostic markers to define molecular abnormalities in cancers that provide insights into disease pathogenesis and biology and serve as potential targets for therapy.
