Dr. Md. Torikul Islam
Dr. Md. Torikul Islam has been graduated in Physics from Jahangirnagar University. After achieved M.Sc. degree from the same University, he joined as a Lecturer at Physics department, Khulna university of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2010 and later on switched to Physics Discipline, Khulna University. He awarded M.Phil. degree in material sciences from KUET in 2013. Subsequently, Mr. Islam achieved Ph.D. degree in Spintronics under Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship scheme from Hong Kong University of science and Technology (HKUST) in 2018.
Dr. Islam is working on the interplay of charges, spin and mgnons in potential nanomaterial/nanowire and devices. Specifically, current research topics include magnetization switching by spin transfer torque (STT), Spin orbit torque (SOT) and Microwave chirp pulse, magnetic domain wall dynamic under magnon current ( thermal gradient ), spin current and magnetic field.
